Don’t make your weight loss journey more mind-boggling than it needs to be.
Losing a significant amount of body fat in a sustainable manner is going to require both effort and strategy, and for most individuals it will be a process of delayed gratification.
Think about it: if someone has peaked at a certain bodyweight that has them feeling uncomfortable after demonstrating certain lifestyle behaviours for 5-10 years, then it’s unreasonable to expect this to be reversed in just a matter of 5-10 days, or even 5-10 weeks!
Good things (like living in a body composition that has you confidently thriving) take time. This is especially relevant to undertaking a weight loss journey (and sustaining the “results” at the end), because over time people begin to appreciate that small daily efforts compound to big wins that have them mentally and physically feeling proud of themselves!
