It can be tempting to try to dodge the “suck” that comes with the territory of competing in bodybuilding.
However, as the saying goes, “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”.
Issac Newton may have thought he was just writing the laws of physics… but it turns out a similar notion and principle can be applied to bodybuilding.
Essentially, every “prep habit” will entail a consequence, and the degree to which you attempt to “hack the system” will result in an equal degree of either positive or negative ramifications.

Hoarding all of your food for nighttime, having a poor mindset during training, abusing diet foods and aggressively losing weight can seem innocent at the time… however the repetition of these habits most often WILL backfire.
Here at TBD we’re under the impression that comp prep is going to be tough regardless of your protocols. Therefore, don’t attempt to dodge the suck - embrace it.
